Call for abstracts Bioethics Conference Deadline 31st March 2023

The Hybrid conference will be held on the 18th and 19th of May 2023 at St Paul's university, Kenya. This global conference is facilitated by St Paul's University in collaboration with Africa Bioethics Network, BCA-WA-ETHICS II (http://www.bcawaethicsii.com/), EDCTP2 (https://www.edctp.org/), University of Zaragoza (http://unizar.es/) among others.

The conference theme is - Mental Health Research, Treatment, Equity, And Stigmatization in Africa.

The deadline for Submission of the Abstract – is March 31st, 2023

Call for “Expressions of Interest” to host the 18th World Congress of Bioethics in 2026

The International Association of Bioethics is now accepting “Expressions of Interest” from universities, bioethics institutions and bioethics organizations to host the 18th World Congress of Bioethics, to be held in 2026, preferably June.

The Board will begin reviewing Expressions of Interest on April 1, 2023 and the Call will remain open until a site is chosen. Priority will be given to groups expressing an interest in hosting early on.

Potential bidders for successive World Congresses in 2028 or 2030 may also express preliminary interest.

Call for IAB Board Member Nominations

The International Association of Bioethics has also announced a call for nominations for positions on the IAB Board of Directors.

Nominations are open until April 15th.
