Official Launch of Africa Bioethics Network

On May 20, 2022, the Africa Bioethics Network was officially launched in a virtual event attended by representatives from numerous African countries. The event featured a keynote address from Prof. Evelyn Wagaiyu, Dean of the School of Medicine at the University of Nairobi, who highlighted the significance of bioethics in African healthcare. The network’s objectives were outlined, emphasizing a commitment to ethical standards and collaborative engagement across the continent.
